Real
intimate
portraiture

The possibilities
for exploring self-love,
self-confidence,
and self-expression through photos
are so much more varied
than you might think.

What could
boudoir be?

You probably have an image in your mind
of what boudoir photography looks like —
what you need to wear,
where the shoot takes place,
or what your body needs to look like.

The reality that I’m putting out there
is that your boudoir session
may look
like nothing you’ve seen before.

You may have never seen a session
that is uniquely true to you,
to your style, your vibe,
your gestures and manerisms,
your idea of confidence,
or sexy,
or powerful.

With the help
of a creative’s eye,
and guiding hand,
doesn’t that version of boudoir
sound really fun?

Let’s find out together
what your session would look like.

“It's a deeply intuitive, self-honoring experience that leaves you with beautiful photos in the end. Consider yourself very lucky to have come across Whyfor and the opportunity to work with Austin.”

- Rachel

Always fun,
often powerful,
never cringey

I’m here to help you
reveal a true part of yourself
in front of a camera,
and encourage radical self-acceptance —
not to transform you into something
for a few photos.

Maybe that involves wearing lingerie.
Often times it’s something chill,
or starts there.

The way your outfit makes you feel,
and the experience you have
being photographed in it,
is so much more important
than what you choose to wear.

“I am not usually drawn to boudoir photography, but loved what I was seeing in Austin’s work.”

- Kerstin

Be seen.

80% of my job
is helping you feel comfortable
and confident
expressing yourself
in this fun vulnerable way
in front of a camera.

Your session is a whirlwind
of encouragement,
and butterflies, and direction,
of flow, improvisation, experimentation,
creativity, and exhilaration.

It’s cathartic,
even before getting your images.

It’s an experience
unlike anything else
you’ve probably experienced.

I’m Austin,
your photographer

I’m a man!

I love living in Longmont
with my lovely wife Jess
and our two foster-fail kitties
(both siamese, both adorable).

Making fun, beautiful photos
that promote self love
is a true honor and joy.

Honestly,
the kind words of my past clients
are better than anything I can say about myself —
read through my testimonials,
they’re incredibly sweet.

More about me

“Boudoir can be really vulnerable so I'm so grateful that Austin made me feel safe, respected, and just so utterly confident. The experience itself was everything I could've asked for and the pictures were STUNNING.”

- Krystal

How this works:

1

Hit that INQUIRE button below
and send me an inquiry!

It’s okay
to not have everything figured out —
just drop me a line
with what you have in mind so far.

I’ll send over a fun questionnaire
to help you think through things like
boundaries, outfits, locations,
and vibes you’re drawn to.

2

Next we’ll meet over video chat
and go over your questionnaire,
making sure
that we’re both on the same page,
with your questions answered,
and some creative options outlined.

You’ll then get a proposal
that summarizes everything
as well as
a simple contract to sign
when you decide
to book your session.

3

Show up to your session,
rested and ready
for an unforgettable experience.

Take the first step

A short note
with what you have in mind
is all we need to get started.

FAQs

  • Very little!

“I love your studio work!” Or, “It would be so fun to be photographed in a forest!” is plenty to work from. Outfit, location, vibe, etc? We’ll chat through those things (and more) during the planning process.

  • I’m based just outside Boulder in the charming small town of Longmont! I shoot every- and anywhere (but mostly along Colorado’s front range). I travel often for work and fun and would love to know what location is calling to you

  • Absolutely! Your comfort is literally the most important thing, and you’re totally welcome to bring someone with you — provided they know this is 100% your session, they will only hype you up, and they understand they won’t be photographed.

  • Totally! Booking a Classic Session gives you the option to shoot outdoors in an environment you dig — forest, desert, water, mountains, etc. More info on the services page.
